Do you often come across words like "bleached knots", "regular knots" and "hair knots" ? You may be confused about the difference or even don't know what they are.

What are knots anyway? When wigmakers make lace wigs like fully hand-tied full lace wigs, lace front wigs and glueless wigs etc, a wig cap was made using the lace fabric first, then strands of hair are tied to the lace base/wig cap by making a knot. This is "regular knots" or "hair knots", it's dark, large and visible, giving an unnatural appearance. So normally we bleach these knots at front hairline to make them looks lighter, smaller and less visible. This is "bleached knots" and where the natural hairline come from.
